If you often find yourself looking for things to do with your kids, this list of things to do in Beaverton is for you!

Kids often complain about being bored and it’s up to us, the parents, to come up with ideas on things to do. That can be super overwhelming, especially when you have been working all week and taking care of a million things.

I’m here to make your life easier, always! So I did a little research to find some really fun things to do in Beaverton that you can keep  up your sleeve.

Things to do in Beaverton – Parks and Playgrounds

Weather permitting, here are some great parks and playgrounds your kids will love:

Pirate Park

This is such a fun playground! The features are pirate themed. There are so many fun things to do in this playground and I’ve noticed kids of all ages having fun here. Definitely a favorite with our family.

Commonwealth Lake Park

This park has a good playground, but that’s not all of it. At this lake your kids can fish, yes fish! You don’t need a permit. They stock the lake with fish year round. There’s also a lot of wildlife here. Blue Herons, nutrias, eagles, lots of geese and ducks.

This park is also a great spot for safe biking and scooter rides.

William Walker playground

This is hands down my son’s favorite playground in the area. You can only access it during the weekend since it’s in the school grounds. There are great climbing structures, swings, basketball courts and more!

Things to do in Beaverton –  Arts and Crafts

Ceramicafe

You can work on a variety of ceramic creations at this spot. You and the kids will have fun painting and decorating ceramic pieces. The lovely staff will fire the pieces to get the paint to stick and they will give you a call when it’s ready for pick up.

Whimsy Wees

This is a great option for after school fun. This cute art studio offers open studio sessions 3:30-5 PM for 5th graders and younger kids.

Things to do in Beaverton – Sports

Defy

When you have super active kids you will need to get them moving as much as possible. This awesome trampoline park will make your kids sweat and help them sleep really well at night. Weekends get busy, so try to go earlier in the morning.

Conestoga Recreation Center

We are so lucky to have amazing recreation centers in Beaverton.

My absolute favorite is Conestoga. Their swimming pool is the best fun for kids. You can check their schedule for open swim times.

Things to do in Beaverton – Games

Wunderland Arcade

Your kids are guaranteed to have the best time at this arcade. Just load their card with credits ( $10 goes a long way here). They also have laser tag and a movie theater, so  you can make a whole day out of it.

Next Level Pinball Museum

At this awesome pinball arcade, you pay $20 for all you can play, all day passes. Older kids will have a blast here!
