About your Portland photographer
this is me
If you cry, I cry. That pretty much sums me up.
I’m a highly empathetic person who dreams of making the world a better place. Being a family photographer is something that I feel deep in my soul.
I believe that a revolution starts at home. In the way we raise our kids to look out for each other. How we care for our friends, family and the planet. Even more exciting for me is that I really believe that, when I photograph people in an honest and connected way, they are able to truly see themselves and each other. And that’s a whole other kind of revolution.
My childhood memories are some of my most precious ones, and the few pictures I have of it, transport me straight back to those moments. Which takes me to the question, ‘ why are family photos important?”.
After I became a mother, I found out that keeping memories of my child and my love for him was one of the most important things I could do. That led me to want to give that same gift to other families with my photography.
To me, pictures are little boxes full of surprises. I love getting home after a session and loading the photos to my computer. Very often what I find brings tears to my eyes. Deep love and connection. People who work hard every day to make things work, to make life better. All of that just waiting to be discovered. I can’t wait for you to see it too.
